DART On Demand 4.11.12

The official rideshare app of the Greater Des Moines transit system provides on-demand microtransit bus service within local zones. DART On Demand, operated by the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART), enables users to schedule pickups in advance or book real-time rides within the micro-transit DART On Demand zone boundaries.

How it works:

1. Download the DART On Demand app.
2. Create an account, entering your name, phone number, address, and ride preferences.
3. Confirm your current location and select your destination.

The app will plan your trip and provide details on where and when to meet your ride. Once a ride is confirmed, you can track your vehicle in real-time using the app and even schedule trips up to one week in advance.

Ride payment options include using the DART On Demand app, passes bought through the myDART app (available on this platform), DART bus pass card, DART tokens, or exact change.
